About Our Misssion

The Exton Mission Community, under St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Forane Church, Philadelphia, was established in [YEAR] to serve the growing Syro-Malabar Catholic community in Exton and the surrounding areas.

What began with [NUMBER] families has grown into a vibrant faith community of approximately [NUMBER] families / [NUMBER] members today. Our Mission provides a welcoming place for families to grow together in faith, fellowship, and service while preserving and passing on the rich traditions of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.

Faith formation is an important part of our Mission. We have an active CCD program with [NUMBER] students, providing religious education and spiritual formation for our children, along with dedicated preparation for First Holy Communion and Confirmation.

Holy Qurbana is celebrated every two weeks, bringing our families together regularly for worship, prayer, and fellowship.

Our connection extends well beyond our liturgical celebrations. The Exton Mission is a close-knit community where families form lasting friendships and celebrate faith, culture, and life together. Throughout the year, our families come together for cherished occasions such as Onam, Christmas, Family Day, and the Feast of St. Sebastian (Kazhunnu Perunnal). These celebrations bring together generations, give our children a strong sense of community and heritage, and create lasting memories for our families.

Through worship, faith formation, fellowship, cultural traditions, and service, the Exton Mission continues to grow as a community rooted in faith and connected as one family.
